In the interest of furthering the dialogue regarding the impact of prescribed burns, Fort Custer Training Center Environmental Division will offer a two-day long conversation on fire and it’s effects on herpetofauna and herp habitats. Please add your expertise to the discussion, either through attendance or presentation. This event is mainly directed to a Midwest/northeast US audience, but concerned citizens and organizations from other states are welcome to participate.

We invite you to present any pertinent information you might have on this topic. If you'd like to make a presentation, please email Michele at michele.richards@us.army.mil with a title, a short abstract and an approximate length of necessary running time. Please limit presentations to 30 minutes to accomodate a generous amount of time for discussion.
